Today, the Four Necessity Valve Turners had their omnibus hearing in Grand Rapids. This was a very short appearance where Allyson, Brenna, Daniel and Michele set a date through their lawyers for the next hearing. That next hearing will be May 8th at 2 pm at the Itasca County Courthouse in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
Before this hearing the team rallied outside the courthouse, along with supporters from the local community, holding signs and waving at passing cars that honked their approval.
Last night the Four Necessity Valve Turners answered questions from the inspiring Tara Houska of Honor the Earth, as a part of a panel discussion at American Indian Community Housing Organization (http://www.aicho.org).
